Another great week in the city. I’m still suffering from all of the ailments that I picked up from three hard days at Lolla, one that was spent almost entirely in the rain. But I couldn’t skip out on you guys because there is plenty of fresh gear in the city. Check out the dope threads from Jugrnaut, RSVP Gallery, Uprise, St. Alfred, and Leaders 1354. As the summer winds down, it’s time to reup for the fall. If you’re headed back to school, these digs are certain to help you stand out.

Jugrnaut

Following up their first release of their collaboration with Starter Caps, Jugrnaut continues to roll on with 2 new colorways of snap-backs. Using the same designs as the previous drop, the ‘Power’ logo and the ‘Can’t Stop • Won’t Stop’, the shop pulls off yet another dope collab. The ‘Power’ cap sports a gray bill and black paneling, with the signature green underbill. The other hat features blacked out construction with turquoise lettering, offset by a purple outline. I’m not sure what differentiates a starter snap-back from other imitators, it could be the slight bowing of the bill, how rigid the front manages to stay, or way it sits on your head. This is the second installment in what is shaping up to be a dope series from the two brands, but that doesn’t mean skip out on this drop. Very limited numbers exist, so cop it online tonight at midnight or in-store tomorrow. (Modeled by the ladies from Young Wonder)

RSVP Gallery

RSVP gallery receives plenty of props in this column weekly. It’s no surprise when they’re stocking items such as JUST ? DON Mitchell & Ness caps or Common Project sneakers. Well this week they’ll receive much more of the same, with the latest drop from KAWS and his Original Fake brand arriving in-store. Two of the stand-outs from the collection include the Teethpattern GI belt and the Hate Heart Collared shirt. Paying close attention to the little things, both items sport impeccable construction and quality materials. The belt meshes leather and the patterned plastic, making it one of the most eye catching accessories I’ve seen in some time. The shirt is adorned with one of KAWS signature characters on the left breast, and when matched with the simple gray striped fabric is the perfect embodiment of the brands meshing of cartoonish/graffiti esque art and elegant streetwear. Both pieces will cost you a pretty penny, but after seeing them its unlikely you’ll be able to resist.

Another recent arrival to the store is their Cambridge Satchel Company Shoulder Satchel. Made from leather, the bags come in 5 different neon colorways

Uprise

It’s hard to hold a candle to the Nike SB’s released over the last few weeks. Between the Irons, which were hands down the best general release from the brand in some time, and the Space Jam‘s, the Dunk Lo Pro are leading the pack over at NSB. But now we have a slightly modified version of their second dopest model the brand has to offer. This version of the Zoom Stefan Janoski SB is a special edition, featuring Velcro as opposed to the usual leather laces. Decked out in all black leather, they are very clean, especially when the materials are paired with the shoe’s lean silhouette. Head over to the shop to grab this latest model.

St. Alfred

After dropping another small collection last week, STA comes back at us with a new run of Stussy tees for the summer’s end. One of the most iconic and established brands in the industry, Stussy and their Tribe came about to fill a void for clothing that is casual, but retains its own personality. The latest release includes multiple t-shirts, some graphic heavy and others very simple. Below is my personal favorite from the run, bearing their “Increase the peace” motto, with an axe thrown in for some tongue and cheek humor.

RSVP Gallery isn’t the only store stocking Original Fake gear, St. Alfred received a few items from the latest collection as well.

Leaders 1354

I’ve saved the best for last. Leaders had the strongest showing this week. With new sneakers from Adidas and a limited edition of Air Force Ones, their shoe game is on point. The Adidas drop is full color and there are around 4 different models represented, with materials ranging from a gingham print to blue suede. The Air Force Ones are modeled using one complete upper, made from a material very similar to the Nike Floamposite. Crisp and white, they are made ever better by the glow in the dark sole.

Another new addition to the shop is Social Status Jeans. The raw denim comes in two different cuts, the Socialist and the Capitalist. Shown below, the Socialist is a slimmer cut, akin to APCs, and the Capitalist resembles Levi’s 501s. Clocking in at 125$, these are a very good deal.
