The mixtape is an experimentally genius 20-track project, sporting a wide spectrum of sounds. ASAAD immediately gains listener’s attention on “Black Kid’s Dream”, emphasizing the joyous and prosperous life he is beginning to enjoy all while keeping true to the DMC aesthetic by following with the trap trunk rap rattler “Mr. White Lighter”.
The opposites collide throughout as ASAAD makes it clear that his styles as an emcee can be just as diverging as his interests. Eating sushi while drinking mineral water is nothing out of the ordinary for ASAAD, who boasts of pulling high end fashion supermodels with ease.
