The unofficial “Summer of Netherfriends” continues with this first look at the artist’s Kind of Buzzed vol. 2. Shot at a recent show at Cafe Mustache by the enigmatic Geoff Henao (who is that guy?), “Black Belt Freestyle” features Swords the Ronin freestyling over Netherfriends’ musical improvisations. For those that don’t remember, the Kind of Buzzed series features Netherfriends playing instrumental improvisations while local rappers spit freestyles over them. It’s a great concept that not only showcases Netherfriends’ versatility, but also spotlights the rappers’ rapbilities.
