Rhymefest by Virgil Solis

I’ve had the finished copy of El Che for a couple weeks now, and in my opinion, it’s an excellent LP.  Everything that Rhymefest has gone through the last couple years is on the table and Fest combines his passion and wit with solid production and clever concepts.  Tracks 2 and 3 on El Che feature Little Brother in various forms.  On “Say Wassup” a track geared towards tentative women, Rhymefest enlists a singing Phonte as he invites a girl to let her guard down.  On “How High” Phonte goes back to rapping alongside fellow Little Brother member, Big Pooh.  “How High” is a more motivational track asking listeners to “f**k alley oops, and work your jump shot,” as Phonte raps.

Fest hit me from Hawaii and gave me the go ahead to set these free.  Download them in a nice zip folder below.
