Rick Ross

Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y can make a case for being the go-to features when you need to enhance any song about smoking weed. The duo, who collaborated on a full mixtape project entitled How Fly, may also be able to make claim as the heir apparent to a weed-smokers throne once held by Method Man and Redman. Here Rick Ross picks them for the remix to his smooth single, “Super High”. This collaboration is interesting in that it also continues the trend of blurring the lines between independent and major, underground and mainstream as top money makers of the past decade are going to the young gunners of the Internet era more and more often these days. And with Curren$y’s Clyde Drexler references and clever word play describing day to day “highs” and lows of the everyman, how can you lose?
