All we know about Robot Army at this point consists of – what I believe is a collective of creative artists & friends who stroll through the streets of Chicago on arbitrary adventures, film it, and make very ill music simultaneously. A couple weeks back member Tony Shane dropped “Inside Out” a lyrically assertive track over a rock heavy beat from Jason Davis (JD). Today we see Davis in a his other role in “Higher”, my personal favorite from the crew. While riding around blowin’ blunts in the back of Penske Truck, the gritty production is perfect for Davis’ “We burn trees and still bang you” swag. Hit the jump for the visuals. After the bear bashing awesomeness that is JD’s “Honestly”, Higher just took it up a notch as he readies his upcoming project, Can I Nigga Borrow A Pencil.
