Rockie On Deck

“They ask me, ‘Rockie, why don’t you pick a lane?’ It’s kinda hard when they say you’re good at everything.”

Chicago’s Rockie Fresh is getting ready for a D.C. performance tonight, and serves us this new track as something to hold fans over in between projects.  For RH Readers, Rockie is nothing new, as we sponsored his RTC-hosted debut, Rockie’s Modern Life.  Since that time, Rockie’s been to Austin, Texas and been able to identify himself as an artist to watch in the Windy City.  He’s picked up co-signs from the likes of Hollywood Holt and Naledge of Kidz In The Hall, as anticipation builds for his next project.  The double Andrew’s sent over this new one, which is not part of anything in particular, and I do deem it worthy of some spins.  “On Deck” addresses some of the movement since his last mixtape and centers on his growing career.  Download it below.
