DJ/Producer Scott Hardkiss has put together a full LP, Technicolor Dreamer. Scott recruited a “musically eclectic, multi-cultural, and poly-sexual group” for the making of this record, which was recorded mostly at his place close to ground zero. The way the press release is written, it’s like Scott pretty much hit record and all these people had one big orgy/party/recording session. That’s not to say that the songs are sloppily put together in any shape or form. Quite the contrary, and the album’s artwork is something I have not seen in years. Hardkiss pressed up the CD with a full picture book featuring lyrics, and pictures of sexy half naked women/half naked mermaids (I’ve yet to see a mermaid with some pants on!).
