“Sid on the beat, SeVen with the heat.”
SeVen1 introduced himself via “Death of Drillin'”. Today he releases his first piece of new music since the controversial record, also the first piece of music he created with NYC-based producer Sid V. “Ivan Drago” is a funky, soulful, and very warm sounding record, as SeVen shows off his lyrical ability. I was actually at SoundScape when SeVen was recording with Sid and they played me this record, it sounds amazing on the loud speakers. I told his crew at that time that SeVen1 reminds me a little bit of Mikkey Halsted meets Pusha T. Check out this track below, and look for more for Seven1 and Sid V.
