I don’t know if I’m early or late on this one, but I don’t care, its just good. The Sleigh Bells are somehow the it band without ever having released nary a 7″. A duo out of, guess, Brooklyn NY, Derek Miller and Alexis Krauss have mastered the art of the internet buzz. Just a few mp3’s floating around in the aether and a couple of stellar shows have leaped the band to “hyped” status. I can’t disagree, the song “Ring Ring” is instantly one of my favorites of the year. Its just so damn smooth. Very simple, uncomplicated, but equally brilliant. Very excited to hear a proper album.
