Spree recently signed to Jive and he’s coming out with his first album, The Never Ending Now, this month. Given this, I expected any new work from him to be bold and really make a statement, more or less announcing his presence and asserting his confidence after his signing. Although it’s not what I expected, Spree has made a statement with this track. He continues to ignore the rules of the industry and demonstrate his uniqueness. I can only hope for more of this from the talented young man. Anyway…we’ve got a soft song in which Spree wears his heart on his sleeve. It’s beautifully done as he and Esthero trade song throughout.
