Sartorial Sounds

Street Etiquette is doing something very unique out there in New York. The online style blog, owned by Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs, recently set out to create a short film about what an artist is. They did this all in an effort to promote the importance of art programs in school. Bringing together Jesse Boykins III, Mara Hruby, Joekenneth Museau, Joshua Bennett, Theo Martins, Melo-X, and Rinaldy Alvarez for a two day studio session; the result is a beautiful piece of art. The song is part spoken work, part rap, and part singing, highlighting each of the artists individual talent. The film was directed by Jerrett Woo. Check out the video after the jump as well as the song.

This project is very similar to RH’s upcoming Closed Sessions:ATX project, which will drop on March, 15th. Both sport true artistry and some long studio sessions, as well as accompanying documentaries. Make sure to check out the album when it releases next week.
