STS has been on a roll lately. He started a bit of a hot streak with last month’s release of “STSisGOLD” and followed it with the Alchemist produced “The Interview” which came out about a week ago. He grabbed another awesome producer for “Cliche” which is the latest track off of his debut LP, The Illustrious. STS thoroughly demonstrated how lyrically clever he can be on “The Interview” and while I wouldn’t say this track is on the same level, it’s still solid. STS pounds his chest on this one but he’s in on the joke as he pokes fun at the exhausted themes that appear all too often in the hip hop genre. The Illustrious is due out sometime in August and will feature appearances by Yelawolf, Black Thought, and Farnsworth Bentley. Download the track below.
