Ambercrombie and Fitch

I think we all remember when Abercrombie and Fitch used to be cool.  They had the risque quarterly and ad campaigns that preteens and teens everywhere were transfixed by.  Now, the relaxed retailer that used to be known for pushing the envelope for the youngins has gone a little too far.  They are being sued by past employee Riam Dean who worked at the Saville Row store in London for upwards of $41,000 in damages.  Dean had always felt like she was being ridiculed since she wears a prosthetic arm.  When hired at  A&F, managers granted her special permission to wear a cardigan when working in the storefront with customers to make her feel more comfortable.  They later believed that didn’t fit the store “look policies” and decided to put her in the back in the stockroom to avoid any interaction at all!  A&F reps claim she is exaggerating the entire thing, but it’s kinda funny that in 2004, $50 million was spent to settle discrimination lawsuits alone… Get it together A&F, not everyone wants to look like we just rode out from the fields with a moose in our logo tees and tiny shorts.
