Rare Photographs From Warhol's Own Camera

Andy Warhol is an art icon and many people are very familiar with the art that he created, from the colorful Marylin Monroe portrait to the infamous Campbell Soup cans. But many are not aware that Warhol also was fond of photography and would carry a camera everywhere he went, documenting his life in the process. He'd capture the stars that we was surrounded with and capture intimate moments of his life and the world he saw around him. He would use either 35mm film or Polaroids and eventually created a large body of work that shows us a different look at Warhol's life. Jim Hedges has collected a large amount of Andy's photographs that will be shown at the New York Design Center in New York City in the exhibition, I’ll Be Your Mirror. Check out some of the images Andy captured, and for more head on over to Time here.
