[EP] Hodgy Beats: "Untitled 2"

Odd Future's Hodgy Beats has always been considered the "lyricist" of the collective, but in his latest EP, Untitled 2, the L.A. native takes a more experimental route and relies more on melodies and spaced-out production than any other project he has put out before. The bars are definitely not lacking though, Hodgy can still spit rhymes for days, the only difference is that the concepts seem more polished throughout the seven-track EP.

[EP] Naledge & IKAZ: "Au Pain Dore"

This IKAZ collaborations with Chicago artists don't stop pouring in, we ain't complaining though. This time around it's Naledge who recorded over six new instrumentals by the French producer and, let me tell you, this is a pretty special project. Enjoy the 'tape below and lets hope these two work together more often in the near future!

[EP] Chuck Inglish: "Droptops"

I still can't get over the fact that The Cool Kids separated, but the material the two are releasing as solo artists has helped get over the split and today Chuck Inglish put out a new EP to assist in the healing process. Droptops heavy hitting 808's and verses by Asher Roth, Buddy, Dash and Retch, Jane Jupiter, Kashflow and Sulaiman. Stream and download below.

[EP] J. Drew: "Never Coming Back"

The talented J.Drew gives us some new material in the form of the Never Coming Back EP. The Detroit rapper, songwriter and producer first made a name for himself after Pharrell signed him to the Star Trak label, but he makes an even stronger statement with the eight-track project streamable below. Give it a chance below!

[EP] Mpulse: "Waiting For The Sequel"

The homie Mpulse is planning to drop his Sofa Gun: The Sequel later this year, but felt the need to give the fans something to hold us over while he gets everything ready for the 'tape. So yesterday morning he compiled a project with loosies and unreleased joint that didn't make the sequel and released it for the masses.

It's always dope to find fresh new talent, especially when the quality of the material is undeniable. Boston-bred, Brooklyn-based duo Green Street (conformed by duo A-live & Soupa) & Texan emcee Howard Floz do exactly that with their latest EP Casa Verde, a five-track project entirely produced by Coopac and Renaissance and presented by DJBooth. The EP is a great listening experience and a must download!

[EP] Max Bouvagnet: "The Sleep"

Chicago's own, Max Bouvagnet, has digitally released his debut EP "The Sleep" today. Throughout the project you'll hear tales of love, drug abuse, teenage angst and rebellion over splendid production by Otis (of Milo & Otis). While working on "The Sleep", Max used inspiration from various genres to create a truly unique musical piece with some of the best songwriting I have heard in awhile. Each song will make you feel the lyrics hit your soul with the help of the artist's crisp voice. This is a listen you truly must experience and definitely don't want to miss out on!
