Flickr Reveals Newly Designed App For iOS, Android
Flickr has now taken a step forward in the way photographers create and share their photos with the newly designed Flickr app for both iOS and Android. It has jumped into the ring with other photo sharing apps with their new design where users can easily interact with the Flickr community shoot, edit, and share photography, all within the app. They have added 14 new filters to edit photos, as well as the ability to record video that can edited as well. Flickr also gives everyone a free 1TB of storage so the photos you take on your phone can sync to your Flickr account. If you're already on Flickr, it would be worth a shot downloading it. NASA Photo Shares Spectacular Images in Essence of Cosmos Premiere
Photos by NASA Goddard Photo
At last, the first episode of the 13-part, Neil deGrasse Tyson, remake of the show Cosmos premiered this week. Broadcasting to more than 70 nations, it was the biggest launch ever for a global TV series. And in essence of the Cosmos premiere, the NASA Goddard Photo and Video Flickr account shared 43 spectacular, and very real images of different parts of the Universe to get you excited.
As if the NASA's Flickr wasn't interesting enough, it had a recent spike in popularity when they similarly shared a photo set in light of the Gravity's Oscar nominations. It seems they've found a way to engage a new generation to get enthusiastic about the wonders of the our universe, and we like it.
Check out some of our favorites below, and view the whole set here.

Artist Aliza Razell Brilliantly Combines Watercolor and Photography
Photos by Aliza Razell
Through photoshop, Massachussetts-based artist Aliza Razell brilliantly combines the art of watercolor and photography to create abstract self-portraits. In the past year, she created a two-part photo series, as part of a 365 photo-a-day project. The first series is titled Anesidora deriving from the explorations of the Pandora's Box myth, and the second titled Ikävä, which is the Finnish word meaning the feeling of longing. The combination of the two art mediums feels poetic and beautifully surreal.

Young Photographer’s Invisible Self-Portrait Series
Photos by Laura Williams
Photographer Laura Williams has been getting some attention for her recent work lately, most notably for her invisible self portrait series. When I stumbled upon some of the photos in the series, I must say that I was pretty impressed because one look at them and all you can say is wow. When I dug deeper, I came across some more of her work, and when you see the images, it's like you're traveling inside someone's dream. There's a really cool creative factor that she has going on with her photos, but it's kind of haunting as well. No matter how you interpret her work, one thing is for sure: Laura has a huge imagination with the talent to create some incredible images. You can check out some of her photos below, and for more of her work, you can visit her Flickr account here.
