[Video] Giftz: "Money Makin' Mitch" (feat. Freddie Gibbs)

Hailing from Chicago's Eastside, lyricist Giftz is back with a raw, bass thumping, street anthem featuring fellow Midwest MC, Freddie Gibbs. This Will Gates directed visual features the two rappers and their cliques mobbing through Gary, Indiana as well as short clips from the glorified film, Paid In Full. Check out two of the Midwest's most prominent MC's and keep an eye out for Giftz's upcoming LP, Position Of Power.

[Mixtape] Freddie Gibbs: "ESGN"

According to Freddie Gibbs, Evil Seeds Grow Naturally. With the album leaking almost two weeks early, Gibbs contained the situation by releasing ESGN in its entirety. The 18-track release features Gangsta Gibbs rapping over production by Cardo, Lifted, Tone Mason, and more, with features from G-Wiz, BJ the Chicago Kid, Problem, and more. Make sure you support Gibbs by purchasing the album on iTunes; you can also stream the album below.

Freddie Gibbs: "One Eighty Seven" (feat. Problem)

If Freddie Gibbs is releasing new material, there's no way that he is putting out something short of great. Gangsta Gibbs is the most consistent emcee in the game and although his name has recently been on the headlines due to his beef with Young Jeezy, it is good to remember why he has achieve a serious following all around the world. "One Eighty Seven" is the latest single from his upcoming 'tape ESGN and features Problem plus production by Sap. The project is expected to drop July 9.

Alex Wiley: "Creepin" (feat. Freddie Gibbs)

The hype continues growing for Chicago's own Alex Wiley and his debut mixtape, Club Wiley. Our homies at Closed Sessions released this hot new track, "Creepin," just now. Featuring Freddie Gibbs with production by Hippie Sabotage, "Creepin" is a great song to help us bide our time while we await the full mixtape release. Club Wiley is coming out on June 4th, with the official release party taking place on June 6th at Lincoln Hall with ShowYouSuck, Kembe X, Caleb James, St. Millie, Taylor Bennett, and Jean Deaux. Check the track out below.

[Video] Joker: "The Vision" feat Jessie Ware & Freddie Gibbs

Freddie Gibbs

"Bruce Lee with pants saggin'"

I keep waiting for Three 6 Mafia to jump out on this joint, as it sounds eerily similar to their "Stay Fly". Freddie Gibbs will do just fine though, and Jessie Ware shines on "The Vision", the title track from Joker's upcoming LP. Watch it below. Also remember that Freddie Gibbs will release his own LP, Cold Day In Hell, on Halloween.

Freddie Gibbs kicked off Digital Freshness at Beauty Bar with a pre-Pitchfork Festival party.  VIPJ and RTC were on the 1's and 2's, and a good time was had by all.  No joke, things got wild afterward (see here)...  Check out pics from Virgil Solis after the jump and look for the video later this week and a Closed Session w/Mr. Gibbs and LRG in August.  Shouts to all involved, especially FSD and TSS for rocking with us.  Look for the next Digital Freshness at Beauty Bar on Thursday, August 18th.
