Pivot Gang has been making some noise out of Chicago lately, with the rise of artists like Saba and a well-formed project in Jimmy, the crew is beginning to put its foot firmly in the door of Midwest hip-hop. Today, we get the latest from Pivot Gang member John Walt, "Liu Kang" produced by Saba and featuring an X-Files sample. The track is a solid entrance to an emerging artist part of one of the young up and coming collectives doing their thing in Chicago. In addition to their respective solo work, the guys holding it down for PIVOT Gang have been working on a compilation 'tape for almost two years. Today, Saba, John Walt, MfnMelom, Joseph Chilliams, Frsh Waters, Sway $wala and Kevo B are finally ready to share their latest opus and just released Jimmy. Containing a whooping 20 songs, Jimmy gives all members in the group a proper platform to showcase their talent and unique abilities, while complementing each other with a palatable synergy only they can muster up.
