Action Bronson: "Practice" (Prod. by Party Supplies)

Action Bronson knows what works for him. By keeping a steady table of top-notch production relationships, Bronsolino has been able to craft himself a sound and a persona within his music that many artists in his lane would kill for. Rumblings of his re-uniting with Party Supplies, who provided production on his breakout 2012 release Blue Chips came true as the Queens rapper teamed up with the funky beat makers again for "Practice" the first track off the anticipated Blue Chips 2, which is rumored for a late 2013/early 2014 release date. Check out the track below.

[Album] MellowHigh: "MellowHigh"

Ever since OFWGKTA hit the scene a few years back when Tyler ate a tarantula in his over-exposed nightmare that was Bastard, Odd Future has been a staple of the modern hip-hop world. While Tyler and Earl provided the intensity and wow factor, it has always been Domo Genesis and Hodgy Beats who were recognized as the truest lyricists of the collective. Having released a couple projects as MellowHype, the pair finally teamed up with fellow OFWGKTA producer Left Brain for a full project that has been awhile in the making. True to their original name, the buzz around the album hasn't been crazy, save for a couple songs dropped on SoundCloud and the video for "Yu" which dropped earlier this month. With their latest, self-titled offering, Domo and Hodgy feel right at home over the Left Brain beats. Check out the full stream via Myspace here below along with dates for their current tour which hits Tucson, Arizona tomorrow.

[Video] Run The Jewels: "Get It"

Killer Mike and El-P spent the summer touring the country and turning heads as they worked their way across America in support of their critically-acclaimed, self-titled LP. I was one of dozens who stopped by the pair's set with a bit of interest and ended up staying for the full length of the set based purely on lyricism, delivery and passion that oozes from both. While on their trip cross-crossing North America, the two had a camera handy and caught some of the footage which they put toward the latest visual for "Get It". Check out the video here below via Myspace.

[Album] GRiZ: "Rebel Era LP"

GRiZ has been one of the refreshing sounds in electronic dance music for awhile now. The Detroit native has built a steady following in the festival and dance scenes with his mash-up of contemporary electronic production and horn playing that is reminiscent of a Big Gigantic arrangement, while saving certain musical aesthetics to make GRiZ records wholly his own style. Last week, he released his latest album, Rebel Era LP, to glowing praise from many outlets. Today, he finally gets the RH treatment for his latest release. Check out a stream of the full project below, as well as a behind the scenes video from his national headlining tour and a personal message from GRiZ on Rebel Era LP, all below and catch GRiZ this weekend in Detroit and Chicago where he headlines a pair of Freaky Deaky shows with Danny Brown and Tokimonsta.

In a time…

In a time where words and phrases like the occupy movement, personal freedom, the NSA, riots, elections, and war are on the tips of everyone's tongues, I can feel a shift in global energy. This is a time where classism and competition is tearing a rift in society. A time where imperialist democratic capitalism is fighting its way to dominate cultures and seperate people into selfish consumers. A time where people are turning against the powers that be and are speaking out against these values. A time that is inspiring people to seek change. Its the time that we live in, an age that we created.

I wrote this record over the past year in many different states and phases. From tour busses, to bedroom studios, from green rooms full of friends and scenesters, to planes thousands of feet flying through the sky. I've met and worked with so many new people through the creation of this album and pushed my limits as a producer to create something challenging and dynamic. Taking every single moment that I wasn't on stage and dedicating it to developing ideas of sound; at times, left me breathless and laid out on the floor of my room with songs on repeat - anxious thoughts melting away into space.

But thats the thing. I've found that music sets me free. Its up to us to use that which is most compelling and manifest a new reality. One free of apathy. A world of compassion, empathy and cooperation. A world of action and of love.

This is Rebel Era.

[Video] PARTYNEXTDOOR: "Break From Toronto"

Canadian singer PARTYNEXTDOOR needs a break. The interesting thing about his latest single from his debut project is that it was an interlude of sorts in the tracklisting, allowing the listener a 'break' from the album, and thus the Toronto native as well. Regardless, it was decided that the song was a single and with winter edging in on whatever Fall existed this year, I'm about ready for a break from Chicago myself. Check out the treatment below.

Childish Gambino: "3005"

Donald Glover, better knwon to some of the world as Childish Gambino, dropped a new song today from his upcoming project, Because The Internet, due out later this year. The track is produced by Chicago's own Stefan Ponce, as well as Glover and Ludovin (Ludwig Goransson). Check it out below and keep it posted for more to come from Childish Gambino.

Borgore: "Wild Out" (Feat. Waka Flocka Flame)

Later this Fall, Israeli-born EDM Producer/DJ Borgore will release his debut album, Wild Out on Steve Aoki's Dim Mak Records. For now, we get the lead single off the project, which shares the same name as the album and features the one and only Waka Flaka Flame. The track is an instant banger that got people moving at the University of Illinois-Chicago Pavilion on the first night of the Aokify America tour, which had Waka and Borgore on the bill, as well as Pharrell and Aoki. Check out the track below and be sure to keep it posted to RH for an exclusive interview with Borgore, coming soon!
