[Video] Nine Inch Nails Announce Tour

Believe it or not, Nine Inch Nails is heading back out on tour, and they have a video to prove it. Frontman of the iconic rock band, Trent Reznor, announced plans for a 2014 tour and a new band lineup consisting of Ilan Rubin, Alessandro Cortini, and Robin Finck. The video is a 77-minute concert film documenting the band's "Tension 2013" tour and yesterday, Reznor also participated in a Reddit AMA with users. No word yet on dates or stops on the tour, but there should plenty of footage in the documentary piece to keep even the most ardent of fans appeased for at least a little while.

For its part, the documentary video follows Nine Inch Nails' concert November 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles as part of their arena tour earlier this year. The fourteen song setlist can be found below, along with the video.

[EP] Isaiah Toothtaker X Jacob Safari: "?OTHING"

Sometimes, it seems like Tuscon rapper Isaiah Toothtaker never rests. Less than a month ago, a music video for the Blue Sky Death remix of his collaboration with Gunplay, "Frownin," was released showcasing the two fronting a cult. Toothtaker isn't one to shy away from controversy or risk taking, illustrated by his previous mixtape's title, Illmatic 2, which serves as both a reference to NaS' iconic Illmatic, but also Toothtaker's acceptance and understanding of internet culture.

With his latest EP, ?OTHING, the rapper teamed up with former Wavves drummer Jacob Safari producing the tracks. However, the aforementioned controversial risk taking Toothtaker is notorious for comes in the use of unlicensed Nine Inch Nails samples used for the EP. ?OTHING combines Safari's use of dark (aren't they all?) NIN samples to complement Toothtaker's lyrics of insightful self-reflection. Safari also utilizes some extra vocal production, such as an echo effect on the "la mer" chorus that creates a medley-like sensation that reflects and enhances the chorus' lyrics themselves ("Some say it's a cycle/And then some say I'm just psycho/Like I don't know what I'm doing when I'm doing what I'm doing/I'ma ruin everything/You won't do a thing").

A little bird tells me there'll be more coming from Isaiah Toothtaker really soon. For now, listen to ?OTHING below.

[Video] Lollapalooza Sampler Platter

In case you missed the action this weekend we put together a quick sampler platter of the most entertaining performances of the weekend. Chance took over the BMI stage Friday evening while sandwiched between Queens of The Stone Age, Flux Pavilion and New Order before Nine Inch Nails and Steve Aoki finished things up. On Saturday Mumford & Sons closed out the day on the Red Bull Sound Select Stage while The Poastal Service united in person to re-hash their 2003 pen-pal album Give Up  to follow a strong day that saw Kendrick Lamar, Charles Bradley, Ellie Goulding grace Grant Park. Sunday featured a little of everything with 2 Chainz, Beach House and Two Door Cinema Club rounding the day out before The Cure took the stage. Watch below.
