[Video] Shigeto: "Detroit Part 1"
Directed by Rafe Scobey-Thal, the music video for Shigeto's "Detroit Part 1" from his album, No Better Time Than Now, is equal parts music video and short film. The video has a film-noir feel to it, especially in its split-screen, black and white introduction that culminates in Shigeto shooting a mirrored image of himself point blank in the head. The hip hop instrumental serves as the soundtrack while the protagonist runs into multiple versions of himself throughout the day.
Shigeto will be embarking on a tour in support of No Better Time Than Now. You can check out the tour dates and locations below.
