Sterling Hayes: "The Glory" (feat. Vic Spencer & Tha Guyver) (prod. by iLLeeT)
The homie, iLLeeT, recently celebrated his birthday with a trifecta of dope records he produced for a bunch of dope Chicago emcees. "The Glory" is the standout track from the batch and it features SaveMoney's Sterling Hayes, Vic Spencer & Tha Guyver spitting over a sample-heavy instrumental, which will be placed in the upcoming Holy Spirit EP. Also, enjoy Keenan Coke's "No Molly" & Lee Majorz' "The Hard Way" below.
Tha Guyver: "Yung Allah" (prod. by iLLeeT)
Both Tha Guyver & iLLeeT are the homies and they have great potential to break into the local scene in the next few years. If you need to be introduced to their music, "Yung Allah" is a great first listen. Tha Guyver still has to polish more his flow and the song could've used some better mixing, but the passion is heard and the talent is there.
Na$im Williams: "Mysterious Colors" (feat. Vic Spencer, Tha Guyver & Cocky)
Na$im Williams put Vic Spencer, Tha Guyver & Cocky on the same track and nobody is safe. "Mysterious Colors" is a wicked joint in which I honestly don't know what stands out to me the most, the verses or the instrumental. That's definitely a good thing though.
[EP] Tha Guyver: "Ignorant Excellence"
Chicago emcee, Tha Guyver, delivers his new EP "Ignorant Excellence", to the masses for free today. The project's production is handled mostly by Na$im Williams and Paype makes a guest-appearance with a quick 16. I'll let Tha Guyver give you a little more insight on the 'tape below:
"Ignorance is a part of all men, to deny it prevents advancement..I accept my ignorance thus evolve past it to Excel..this is the sound of that transformation..."
