In a new video posted by RapRadar the Clipse announce that they will be dropping solo albums. I may be the only one, but that is not a good move in my book. And somewhere down the line they’ll be saying, ‘I immediately regret that decision.’ Now, I say that not to poke fun or anything like that. I am a fan of the Clipse and have their three previous albums, mixtapes etc, and have interviewed them like three times. But, their last album was lukewarm at best, and to me their constant “coke-rap” is just getting redundant. Perhaps the solo projects will be a way for them to break out of the doldrums, or it will be double the coke-raps and half the substance. Talk amongst yourselves and see the video below.
