VIPJ shut it down on Saturday at Dimes and Dozens (thank you to everyone who came out and partied with us). Here’s a little extra thank you in the form of PJ’s reworking of The Cool Kids’ “Black Mags”. Surprisingly, I hadn’t heard this until PJ played it for me last week. I’m guessing that there are some of you that haven’t heard it either, and while “Black Mags” is definitely an older joint, there’s nothing wrong with taking another look at the first song to really break for The Cool Kids.
