The Generationals are a New Orleans band fresh on the national scene. Their growing presence is due in part to their recently released EP, Trust featuring this track, “Victim of Trap”. For the song’s video, the band looked towards their hometown and the abandoned Six Flags that closed during Hurricane Katrina and never reopened. It’s an eerie pairing to the sonically upbeat track that lyrically focuses on loss and denial. The band will release a proper LP in 2011 via Park The Van records. You can check out the video below.
