Graffiti is truly the voice of the people, carrying messages, codes, memorials, and more. A city’s walls truly carry the pulse of the people, and the Graffiti of War project seeks to showcase the street art found on the walls of global war zones in an attempt to understand it, and better understand the conditions and feelings of those living in such areas. The overall goal is to be able to bridge the gap between our soldiers and civilians while documenting this generation’s war.
