Is that cowbell? Chicago’s Hood Internet pay homage to outdated movie watching hardware on their latest “VCR”, a cymbal heavy jam that is smooth and addictive. I’m not sure this is correct, but I think this track was recorded in part last summer around the time Freddie came into Chicago for Pitchfork and our Closed Session with him. Funny enough, we also did a Closed Session with Ninjasonik that weekend, and NJ’s Telli follows Gibbs on this track as well, which is carried along with a dope chorus from Elizabeth Harper of Class Actress.
