The ILLZ, the MC hailing from New Jersey, hasn’t dropped any new material for a while, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t working. In the new “Despiertate (Awake)”, The ILLZ’s smooth rythmes compliment the airy and smooth production seamlessly as he sketches us a picture of what his dreams would will look like when they come to fruition. The ILLZ’s fans already know how multifaceted an artist he is. His In Between Video Series was a concept LP, a series of 10 music videos released before any audio versions, something I have never seen before. He also recently was spotted in a Muve Music commercial shot by Funny or Die. Not to mention that all of his album’s are extremely tight and out of the box. Look for this innovative MC to keep grinding and increasing his shine, he has something most others don’t.
