My students at Columbia College are always telling me about new local bands that they like. We just started the summer session and The Ivorys are a band who’s name has come up several times in the last two weeks. Today I went through some of their music, including “It’s Over Now (Maraca Song)”. Maybe it’s the maracas, but this song sounds very upbeat despite it’s title.
