Man, I love The Knux’ first LP, Remind Me In 3 Days… “Fire” is still my joint, and a standard in my crates. The brothers from New Orleans have been kind of quiet since the LP’s ’08 release, aside from their F**k You EP, which dropped in ’09. Apparently they’ve been working on a proper sophomore LP, which is currently untitled but does have a lead single in the form of “She’s So Up”. The Knux made their way by fusing Hip Hop and authentic rock n’ roll. The new record leans more to the rock n’ roll side, and I’m not complaining at all. The Knux definitely rock out, and they’ll also whoop your ass, as we saw in Austin, TX way back in ’08 when The Knux got off stage and proceeded to punch someone in the face (or something like that, it was kind of blurry)… Consequence of Sound debuted the new song, which you can check out below.
