Tallest Man on Earth

Anyone that knows me knows that my favorite musician of all time is Paul Simon.  His music, and his poetry never stops to inspire me, and his style of singing in a very conversational way is incredible.  The Tallest Man on Earth recently took a stab at what Paul Simon feels is perhaps his best song, “Graceland”.  The song is a special one for many reasons, as it was written following a divorce, and also signified a new sound for Simon as he began to experiment with and bring African rhythms into his music.  The Tallest Man On Earth does away with the horns and the bounce in Simon’s original, and keeps it very stark on this cover, which is not half bad.  In fact, it’s pretty good and great listening for an early morning.  Get it below.
