I’m not able to catch each episode of Elliot Wilson’s the Truth, but I always seem to pick the good ones to peep. Today he released his newest, a debate centered around Ma$e’s recent reappearances on RapFix, remixes, and rap blogs. Ma$e told Sway that he was finally released from his Bad Boy contract, and is now looking for a new team to join. He mentioned to Sway that MMG has shown him a lot of love, and that he is also very close to the G.O.O.D. Music camp. Ma$e is not new to comebacks that never quite come to fruition, and the question definitely pops up if this is for real, or just for right now?
I wasn’t sure where Wilson was going to land on this question, either declaring the rap world ready for Mason Betha, or bluntly stating that it’s time for Ma$e to retire for good. Wilson presents his opinion well, and backs it up with an argument built around Ma$e’s attributes and attitudes over buzz, image, etc. Watch the episode below.
