It’s been a busy week at Ruby Hornet. My personal favorite film festival of the year, the Chicago International Film Festival, officially began on Thursday. However, if you know me personally or follow me on Twitter, you’ll know that I’ve been doing prep work for the festival for the past week and a half with over a dozen films under my belt and ready for review with another two dozen in the works. If you haven’t had a chance to venture out to catch a few foreign films, why don’t you? I wrote a nice 15 film recommendation post for those overwhelmed by the festival’s 150 films.

In other Ruby Hornet news, we interviewed Isaiah Toothtaker, Jay Dot Rain, and Borgore, Sarah Silverman will be a part of Fun Fun Fun Fest’s comedy lineup, Tyler, the Creator dropped the video for “Tamale,” of Montreal released Lousy with Sylvianbriar, Scarlett Johansson was named “Sexiest Woman Alive 2013” by Esquire, LG Display revealed the world’s first flexible smartphone display, and more. You can check out all of last week’s content below.
