Local MC Tony Shane is here with a very quality release from a compilation titled Summer Shots from the Robot Army collective. The aggressive flow from Shane is accompanied by a Roots-eque beat, boasting a very dope sample of the 60’s rock outfit Grand Funk Railroad produced by Jason Davis, also of the collective. Definitely not your below average attempt at rapping over rock based production, as Shane’s flow is better described as a polished rock an roll front-man attempting to rap rather than some no name rapper attempting to gain cross-genre appeal.
