This happened before the now infamous Brooklyn Bowl show in which Toro got jacked.
“Before his Brooklyn Bowl show last Friday, Chaz Bundick aka Toro Y Moi swung by Heathers to play a plugged-in set. He did not have his laptop because it had recently been stolen. We thought this would make re-creation of his sound near impossible, but what we heard—a couple of gentle tales not on his Causers of This album—was no less amazing than the songs we have already come to know and love. And whatever humble pie this dude is eating, we would like a slice. Camera assistance and what could have been a wonderful haircut provided by the surgical hand of Amy Von Harrington.”
