It’s been four months since the last trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, and with the film’s December release date creeping up slowly, it only makes sense that a new trailer emerged. I admit, I was never into The Lord of the Rings (or any form of medieval fantasy, Skyrim notwithstanding), and the hype over The Hobbit films is beyond me. However, money talks, and the second in the The Hobbit trilogy, The Desolation of Smaug, is bound to make hundreds of millions in the box office at the end of the year.
There are dragons, hobbits, wizards, elves, the ring, and epic orchestral scores – the standard I have come to expect from The Lord of the Rings films. December 13th is the day of reckoning, Legolas lovers. In the gallery below are two new posters to commemorate The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug‘s new trailer. Enjoy!
