I’m honestly not the biggest Will Ferrell fan. He’s stolen a few laughs from me over the years, but overall, I’m not really into his cheesy brand of comedy. With that said, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy was legitimately funny. Sure, it followed the basic gimmicky premise of all of Ferrell’s films where he portrays an outlandish character, but everything from the writing to the supporting cast clicked. Imagine my excitement when Ferrell officially announced the sequel, Anchorman: The Legend Continues, back in December.

It doesn’t feature any footage from the film, but reacquaints audiences with Ron Burgundy (Ferrell), Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), Champ Kind (David Koechner), and fan favorite Brick Tamland (Steve Carrell). With news that “Yeezus” himself Kanye West is set to make a cameo in a film already full of characters, you already know Anchorman: The Legend Continues will be a hit. The film will be in theaters December 20th.
