Mike Tyson has been rebuilding his public image over the past few years following his retirement from boxing with memorable cameos in films like The Hangover, his one-man show Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth, and his New York Times Best Seller, Undisputed Truth. What’s the next step for one of boxing’s most dominant athletes? An Adult Swim cartoon!
During New York Comic Con 2014, the extended trailer for Mike Tyson Mysteries was revealed. The cartoon is a Scooby Doo-esque mystery starring Tyson as himself and the Mike Tyson Mystery Team made up of his adopted Korean daughter Yung Hee (Rachel Ramras), the Ghost of the Marquess of Queensberry (Jim Rash), and a pigeon named Pigeon (Norm Macdonald). If the animation style seems familiar, it’s because Warner Bros. Animation themselves is handling it, which is a great show of faith for the show.
Mike Tyson Mysteries will premiere on Adult Swim on October 27th at 10:30pm EST/9:30pm CST. Check out a small gallery of images from the show below!
