Since Taken came out in 2008, Liam Neeson and “badass” have become almost synonymous. With a macho survivor role in The Grey, classic badass character portrayal in The A-Team, and Taken 2 (as well as a plethora of other awesome roles, the least of which being Qui-Gon Jinn in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace), it’s safe to say that Neeson has become the de facto badass old man.
In Non-Stop, Neeson plays a US air marshal taunted by a killer on a non-stop flight from New York to London. However, as he attempts to control the situation, the situation turns on him as he becomes framed and accused of holding the entire plane hostage. What can he do to ensure the safety of the plane’s passengers, but also clear his name at the same time? On-plane action thrillers haven’t been this exciting since Snakes on a Plane, right?!
Non-Stop is currently scheduled for a February 2014 release.
