Wesley Anderson is back and as whimsical as ever with the first trailer for his new film, The Grand Budapest Hotel. In keeping with the typical Wes Anderson theme of men acting as father figures to other characters, the film is about a popular concierge at the titular hotel, Gustav H (Ralph Fiennes), and his young protege, a lobby boy at the hotel named Zero Moustafa (Tony Revolori) in 1920s Europe. When one of Gustav’s former suitors dies, she leaves a famous painting for him to the ire of her son (Adrien Brody). The Grand Budapest Hotel revolves around the painting’s disappearance and every characters’ attempts to locate it.

Also starring are Anderson veterans Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Jason Schwartzman, Tilda Swinton, and Owen Wilson with newcomers Saoirse Ronan, Jude Law, Lea Seydoux, and more. If you’re not a fan of Anderson’s penchant for retro chic, color-heavy adventures full of whimsy and fantasy, The Grand Budapest Hotel probably won’t sway you. However, in saying that, fans of his past work will definitely have something to love… even if it’s Jason Schwartzman.

The Grand Budapest Hotel will be in theaters on March 7, 2014.
