This is a great idea. Kinfolk Collective have created a documentary film on the life and times of MC Tree, who seemingly came out of nowhere during 2012. The documentary, “Damn Near Made It”, will be released in the fall and will “explore the past, present, and future for Tree and give fans and critics an in depth look into the mind and creative process of ‘the city’s greatest rising talent.'” I’m looking forward to this, I hope it really gives us a better idea of where Tree is coming from.
