It took 12 #TreatedTuesdays, but we finally get the “Formal Introduction” on Chicago’s Treated Crew. The new record features Mic Terror, Nick Junior, Million $ Mano, Gzus Piece and Caleb James, who come through with a smooth and explanatory posse cut on one the Chi’s most formidable crews. I thoroughly enjoy the record, especially the way Mic Terror cleverly weaves through the names of various Treated Crew members. The photo is courtesy of Alexander Richter who spent a week in Chicago with us, documenting Chicago Hip Hop’s scene. One of the stop’s was Mano’s kitchen, where the crew worked on new music and did a proper photo shoot. This is the first photo to be seen from the series.
