Tyler, The Creator

In a series of statements posted to Twitter yesterday, Odd Future’s Tyler, The Creator let the world know that MTV rejected the original version of his recently video for “She”.  The video is a take on teen-horror flicks such as “Scream” and features Tyler as a persistent and love-lost stalker.  Not hiding his feelings, Tyler kicked off the tweets with, “I Am So F**king Bummed Out. F**k Man. Really MTV?”

Tyler went on to relay the necessary edits for the video to be added to the network which currently banks on morally questionable shows such as “The Real World”, the recently cancelled “Skins”, and “16 and Pregnant”.   “We Would Have To Edit A Bunch Of Bulls**t Out For A Video That Was Less Aggressive That YONKERS, Which They Played,” Tyler wrote.  “Like: Can’t Say Honey Dip, No Supreme, Japser Can’t Hump Rock, Can’t Sniff, Can’t Say “1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Is The Bullets”, And Other Bulls**t.”

According to his Twitter, Tyler’s not messing with the video.  We’ll see what happens once the emotions die down but for now Tyler is “Really Sad. I Worked So Hard On That Video, Thought A Corny Teen TV Spoof Would Be OK To Get What I’ve Been F**king Wanting But F**k No.”  Ending on a positive note, he wished Bruno Mars well, and vowed to keep his head up.

Don’t change Tyler. Don’t change.  See the questionable video below, and let us know if you think it deserves to be banned from MTV.
