Here’s a brand-new tool for you fixed gear riders and cycling enthusiasts out of Massachusetts’ own Union Foundry. The tool is a rotafixer which ‘works by leveraging the tension of your chain – a technique which can also be used to remove your cog once the lockring is off.’ This eliminates the frustrating task of breaking your knuckles trying to remove you cog with other tools. Union Foundry is a collection of Massachusetts locals affiliated with existing brands/shops like Open Bicycle shop and beyond. Everything regarding this project is Massachusetts-born from the manufacturing and materials right down to the Penfield USA-designed carrying case. The tool is available now at Open.
