I really love the Minneapolis Hip Hop scene right now. They have a ton of talent, a DIY work ethic, and a real appreciation for Hip Hop music and culture. While I was down there I stopped by Rhymesayers’ Fifth Element for an in-store prior to Soundset. I actually saw both members of Big Quarters while I was there, I just didn’t know who they were. Upon my arrival back to Chicago I had an introduction via K-Salaam and their new video for “New Plateau” awaiting me in my inbox.
