Black Hippy is the truth. Period point blank, they are the dopest crew in the game at the moment. In promotion for Jay Rock’s Follow Me Home LP (which drops today) the crew stopped through Toca Tuesdays at Shade 45 with Tony Touch to showcase what the fuss is about. To me it is a travesty that more people are not up on these cats. The reason I think they are the best is their very evident differences in style. Each MC does not sound a lick like the other band members, and that gives them a uniqueness unmatched by anyone in the game in 2011. And oh yeah, they have bars! Hit the jump to watch + listen.
