After you watch Childish Gambino’s “Bonfire” video you’ll know why he decided to release it on Halloween. It is the first single off of his upcoming project Camp and it fits very well with the camp theme. The driving beat and Gambino’s frantic lyrics are the backdrop to a short film of a group of teen campers hudled by a bonfire indulging in scary stories, all in a very creepy hollow. It begins with Donald Glover waking up with a noose around his neck in the same woods. By the end of the the video you’ll have to ask yourself if he was alive at all. All in all it is yet another polished piece of work from the rapper and makes me more excited for what Camp has in store. Check it out below and be on the lookout for more tracks in the near future.
