Here is a new video from Emilio Rojas off his latest project, Life Without Shame. The video is for “Right To Stay”, one of the more powerful and thought-provoking songs on project. The topic at hand is immigration, and new laws that allow police officers to side-step human rights in search of those in America illegally. I used to actually write for an immigration blog, and I understand both sides. It’s delicate topic with no easy answers. Easier to see is the injustice of new immigration laws in Arizona, and the abuses of power by some police and immigration officers, as well as employers of undocumented immigrants. Emilio Rojas becomes both, as he tells the story of an immigration raid in this really well-done video. Watch it below.
