Gzus Piece is a member of The Treated Crew, and I’m fairly confident that he holds the title for the most Treated Tuesday appearances. His last release, Expensive Shit is a cult classic, and Gzus is easily one my favorite emcees in Chicago. He is also one of the most interesting as well. In March, we started working with Gzus Piece on our first full Closed Sessions project centered around one artist. Over the last few months, we recorded Gzus Piece’s new EP, simply titled, F*#k Y’all!
The EP will be released later this summer as a free download as well as via a limited edition tee. The EP contains production and guest features from Chance The Rapper, Sulaiman, GLC, Nascent, Nez & Rio, and Thelonious Martin. For the EP’s first release, we give you “Drinking On The Plane” the DJ Babu-produced stream of consciousness that was actually the first song to be recorded. The video is directed by Andrew Zeiter.
